The Resident Green Committee (RGC) Initiative promotes the sustainable environmental strategic plan of the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) to reduce and conserve energy resources and create green collar job opportunities for residents. Each Resident Green Committee fosters awareness about climate change and empower and educate residents about how they may reduce their carbon footprint in t

heir public housing developments. Any NYCHA resident, including young people, provided parental consent is given.
