What if AI could actually understand, not just answer?

We caught up with Marko Göls, Co-Founder & CBO of ONONO AI, during VivaTech in Paris to talk about what his team calls Progressive AI.

The idea: AI that doesn’t simply process each interaction independently, but continuously learns, builds context over time, and can explain the reasoning behind its answers.

As Marko puts it: “We are bringing understanding to AI.”

Since we filmed this, ONONO has launched its first demo of the ONONO Time Machine, established ONONO Labs in Vienna, and been selected for the Hermann Hauser Frontier Lab 2026 as the company prepares for its next stage of growth.

🌎 Yorkseed at the United Nations — Handshake Summit & Leadership Gala

This past week, our founder Jessica Sophia Wong spoke during UN CSW70 at the Church Center of the in New York, joining global leaders, operators, and organizations working at the intersection of policy, technology, and opportunity.

The conversations went beyond leadership. They centered on power.

Who has it.
Who is building it.
And how systems, institutions, and emerging technologies like AI continue to shape access to opportunity.
