One of the best parts of being a member of the Guides Association of New York City is getting access to experiences like this.

At our August members meeting, GANYC members were treated to a behind-the-scenes tour of Green-Wood Cemetery and the newly reopened Green-House at Green-Wood. From stunning architecture and fascinating history to connecting with fellow guides, it was a great reminder that some of the best learning opportunities happen when we explore the city together.

A huge thank you to Green-Wood Cemetery and the Green-House team for hosting us and sharing the stories behind these incredible spaces.

A great part of being a member of The Guides Association of NYC is the free FAM(ilarization) tours. You get to take a free tour with a guide that may be working on a new tour or editing the content of a tour.

But sometimes you get to take a tour with one of the most experienced Guides in the City. Check out the blog post written by member, Steve Clopper, on the "After the Great Fire of 1776: Townhouses, Tenements & Towers with Joe Svehlak"
