A Valentine’s Day gram that can be sent to a recipient of your choice. There are several options available, including chews, treats, and toys, and each gram will include a custom notecard from the sender.

We hope this Valentine’s Day fundraiser will be just the thing to warm everyone’s hearts, help set a positive tone, and remind us of the shared passion that brings our community together!

AKC HAS ADDED IGP TITLES TO BEAUCERONS PEDIGREES!

We got it done!!!! (Thank you ABC Board Member Stacy Crivello for passionately taking this on and making it happen!!!)

The American Beauceron Club will be joining the ranks of the select few other AKC working & herding dog breed parent clubs that have successfully petitioned AKC to include the IGP titles on their breeds pedigrees!!!!

IGP, which was formerly known as Schutzhund and then IPO, is a sport that tests the dog’s courage and workability. An IGP working dog trial has different levels that include
-a test of tracking human/disturbed earth scent
-a test of the dogs obedience
-a test of the dogs courage & protection ability
All in one Trial, and often it takes place all on the same day. You can trial in just obedience or just tracking or you can do obedience and protection without the tracking. There is also a 12 mile long endurance test that dogs can title in!

The AKC programming is finished and you may now have the following titles added to your Beauceron’s pedigree …
BH, SchH1-3, IPO1-3, SchHA, FH1-2, TT, WDS1-3, BH-VT, IGP-V, IGP1-3, Apr1-3, FPr1-3, UPr1-3, SPr1-3, StPr1-3, AD, TR1-3, OB1-3, VPG1-3, GPr1-3, IFH-V, IFH-1, IFH-2, IGP-FH, StÖPr1-3
….. retroactively as well.

This will help our breed in so many ways and will let the world easily see on a pedigree, the Beaucerons with these types of working titles. If you have, or had, Beaucerons with any of these titles, please apply to add them to their pedigrees. 🥳🥳🍾

Many of you have expressed concerns surrounding the inconsistency with membership communications, we have identified the root problem with Club Express and are working on fixing that, but for now we have a bandaid solution!
