Barnard Students - Give and Go Green is on!!!!

Barnard College and Rheaply have partner For a More Circular Campus. Find, share, and request supplies and equipment now through Barnard's open marketplace! Rheaply's AxM is a free-to-use marketplace. Students, faculty and staff can post and exchange materials and supplies. https://axm.rheaply.com

Log in using your Barnard email and help keep items out of the landfill by finding them new homes. Looking for something new? Check here first!

In Person*:
Donate gently used items between 4/21-and 4/30. Items will be donated to local partners or stored over the summer for resale at the Green Sale next fall. Help keep dorm items out of the landfill and affordable for incoming students.

Where: Mehler Parlor, first floor, Elliot Hall.
When: 4/21 - 4/30 10am - 1pm and 3pm - 6pm (Except 4/22 - 3pm - 6pm only)

Lamps ,Fans, Mini fridges, Storage bins

Applications are now live for Barnard's Student Government committees! Come join me on the Sustainable Initiatives Consulting Board (SICB) or get involved in another committee where you can share your insight and make a difference on campus.

I loved being a member of SICB last year and getting hands-on with projects that I felt passionately about. On SICB this year, a few of my goals are to create user friendly composting across campus and within dorms, make CSA shares more financially accessible, increase our use of renewable energy on campus (currently 50%) in order to eventually fully divest from fossil fuels as an institution, partner with the Barnard community garden (aka Barnarden 😉), increase delicious vegetarian and vegan dining options, decrease waste in the Diana center, and more! This list will soon change and grow as committee members bring up issues that are important to them. I can't wait to work with many of you and to make Barnard a greener place! 🌿
