The Historic Mt. Zion Church of God 7th Day

Originally Beth Abraham (Ahavath Achim), Mt. Zion was built in 1928 as a Jewish synagogue. Today we are a Sabbath keeping church deeply rooted in our community.

We are a "small church with a BIG heart".

What an AMAZING day in Brooklyn! 🙌🏾❤️

We were blessed to serve 300+ children with back-to-school supplies at our Annual Kids Fair & Community Day on E 37th Street!

On behalf of Mt. Zion Church of God 7th Day and Brooklyn Center for Quality Life (BCQL), thank you to every volunteer, community partner, donor, parent, and friend who helped make this day possible.

This was about more than school supplies. It was about community, hope, health, and making sure our children know that we believe in them and are invested in their future.

From games and activities to health and wellness resources, food, fellowship, and plenty of smiles, our neighborhood showed once again what happens when we come together.

300+ children served. One community. One mission. A brighter future.

Thank you, Brooklyn, for making this year’s Kids Fair one to remember! 💙
