Many thanks to the staff at Blythedale Children's Hospital for hosting our members as we explored an important part of the Society's history!
Thank you to New York Society for Ethical Culture for visiting our hospital. In 1891, a group of women from the organization founded Blythedale Children’s Hospital, originally known as the Teaching and Visiting Guild for Crippled Children. Since then, Blythedale has grown into a national leader in caring for medically complex children, and it was a pleasure to show the group how far we’ve come over the past 135 years.
