Bruised Not Broken is an action, advocacy and awareness organization that addresses many of the serious issues facing Pit Bull dogs today. Our mission is to secure the future of Pit Bull dogs by restoring their reputation as loving members of the family, and as positive contributors to society. We work with passion and compassion to promote Pit Bull dogs in the community while inspiring the respec

t, appreciation, and elevation of these remarkable dogs. Bruised Not Broken also works to find homes for homeless Pit Bull dogs in NYC by providing such dogs with exposure to a growing community of potential adopters. Additionally, we offer financial assistance to rescue organizations and/or adopters to assist with costs associated with rescuing Pit Bull dogs from shelters.

I remember this time well. My human son had just been diagnosed with an awful virus that caused severe pain throughout his entire body, as well as high fever and painful sores down his throat. His discomfort was so intense that he was actually unable to cry.....it was heartbreaking.
The feeling of helplessness in the face of my child's suffering was unbearable.

But then help arrived in the form of our 90lb pit bull.

Our precious dog never left my son's side. NEVER. They curled up together and slept, riding out the virus as a bonded pair until the fever ultimately broke and recovery came.

The term "nanny dog" doesn't even begin to describe LUCA. "Doctor dog", "brother", "best friend", "lover", "protector", "ANGEL." ❤️

Shame on Delta Air Lines for continuing to discriminate against Pit Bull dogs. Delta's ban prohibits ALL Pit Bull dogs - including service dogs - from their airline. Even the Department of Transportation has pushed back on banning Pit Bull dogs from traveling as service or support animals; but Delta is maintaining its discriminatory stance.

There is no evidence to support the claim that a dog is dangerous based on determined breed. Wake up, Delta Air Lines! Your ignorance is not only embarrassing, but hurtful to Pit Bull dogs everywhere and to the folks who rely upon their physical and emotional services.
