What is F.I.T.? F: is for FUEL. What is 4?

We believe that having the right FUEL is more than half the battle of getting fit. We affirm the necessity of incorporating mindfulness, self-care, and nutrition education into fitness programming. I: is for INSPIRE. We believe that getting fit does not only improve physical health. It also a way to INSPIRE ourselves and others to live a fulfilling life. T: is for THRIVE. We want everyone to under

stand that they have the power to THRIVE (and reach their goals and dreams), by achieving fitness in an accessible, sustainable, and fun way. Our organization hopes to accomplish its mission by achieving four goals:

Our organization is working on 4 concrete goals:

1) Redefining “fitness” as F.I.T.ness, an accessible, sustainable, and fun way to FUEL, INSPIRE, and THRIVE.

2) Providing F.I.T.ness programs (a combination of fitness classes, personal training, and wellness workshops) for various communities and schools.

3) Collecting fitness apparel and equipment for individuals in need.

4) Spreading F.I.T.spiration around the world through our social media, blogs, and podcast. Who is All? ALL who are inspired to live a more active and healthy lifestyle (in an accessible, sustainable, and fun way) can join us!

Hey F.I.T. Fam/Friends/Followers,
This past year has been filled with more fun, growth, & amazing opportunities than we could have ever imagined! We sincerely thank our partner organizations, sponsors, and every individual who contributed to keeping our events alive and made them SO meaningful.
Despite our growth this year, we are still a small community organization. We must be strategic in how we operate so that we can serve our community in the fullest way!
With that said, we have big, mission-driven ideas that we want to implement soon. And the only way for our team to put these dreams into action is to fully focus on building. So we’ve decided to take a break this summer.
Our programs will be on hiatus from May-September. We will still be releasing new episodes of our F.I.T.spo podcast (which is returning soon, in a big way). And we may be running “here and there” events to keep our mission present.
Our final event before the “break” will be on Sunday, May 5th. More details to follow. Save the date!

On Saturday, April 6th Pathways is hosting a Wellness Day...in an effort to provide stress-relieving, health-promoting activities that are accessible for individuals of ALL ABILITIES. .i.t.4all will be providing the yoga and group fitness classes at this event!
We are so excited to kick off our partnership with Pathways in this way!

The f.i.t. in .i.t.4all stands for FUEL, INTEGRATE, THRIVE. This is how we define "fit" at our community events.
We believe that the first step to getting "fit" is FUELING your body and your mind (with intuitive eating, rest, sleep, positive interpersonal relationships, and anything else you need to feel grounded and supported).
Once you are FUELED, you can begin to INTEGRATE more movement, meditation, and other *surplus* practices into your life. We use the word INTEGRATE because we believe that these practices should be peacefully infused into the life you are already living, rather than a tedious obligation that forces you to change up the rest of your life. You should never sacrifice your FUEL in order to fit in a movement practice; instead, INTEGRATE a movement practice into whatever else you need to feel sustained.
The final step towards getting "fit" is recognizing what you value, and what it means to you to live a fulfilling life. When you are adequately FUELED and peacefully INTEGRATING self-care practices, then you can begin to explore what it means to you to THRIVE.
