The US has a cosmopolitan population with a significant number of families facing childhood leukemia. According to the American Cancer Society, approximately 11,050 new cases of cancer between the ages of 0-14 are diagnosed in the US each year, of which approximately 3,300 are new cases of leukemia. Given the population density and diversity of New York City alone, there is a great need for compre

hensive support services to address the needs of affected children and their families.

After 25 years of experience in Turkey, we decided to expand our reach by establishing LOSEV USA. We aim to leverage our broad expertise and share our experience in providing support and care for leukemia and other blood-related diseases. Our mission transcends borders, as we aim to collaborate effectively with our counterparts around the world to contribute to the fight against pediatric cancer worldwide. Through this international partnership, we aim to make a significant impact on the lives of children worldwide, providing quality care and support to those in need.

LOSEV USA will operate as a non-profit organization that aims to support children diagnosed with leukemia and their families in the USA. We will collaborate with hospitals, medical professionals, volunteers and donors to provide holistic support services.

Our programs will include the following forms of support:

- Financial assistance for medical treatments,
- Counseling and psychological support,
- Education support,
- Recreational activities to support the well-being of affected children and their families.

On April 7, World Health Day, we are reminded that access to healthcare is not a privilege, it is a right.
Because healing should never depend on where a child is born or what their family can afford.
Today, and every day, we continue working to ensure that no child is left behind in the fight against cancer.
Together, we can turn hope into action.

A message from our children:
“Let the children heal first.” !

These brave children who have overcome leukemia are speaking for those who are still in treatment.

This Ramadan, let’s multiply kindness together.

Behind every child fighting leukemia stands a team of extraordinary people. Doctors, nurses, researchers, technicians, and all healthcare professionals who dedicate their knowledge, compassion, and strength to healing.

Today, we honor everyone who devotes their life to medicine and to the care of others. Because healing is not only science. It is also kindness, patience, and the courage to never give up on a child. 💙

Strong women shape the world in countless ways; as leaders, caregivers, professionals, dreamers, and sometimes as mothers raising the next generation.

When women are supported and empowered, they nurture hope, resilience, and compassion in the world around them.
And when children grow up inspired by strong women, they grow into individuals who build a stronger, kinder future.

Today, we celebrate all women for their strength, courage, and the light they bring to the world every single day. 🩷

Every child deserves the chance to grow up healthy. To play, to learn and to simply be a kid.

On World Cancer Day, we are reminded that every child deserves a life filled with light, joy, and hope.
Yet too many children face cancer far too early.
Together, we can create a world where no child grows up in the shadows.

Awareness Empowers Prevention

Leukemia can develop without warning, and in many cases, without clear risk factors.
However, understanding what may increase risk helps us raise awareness, encourage prevention, and support earlier conversations about health.

Some treatments, environmental exposures, genetic conditions, and family history can play a role — but many individuals diagnosed with leukemia have none of these factors.

At , we believe that informed communities are stronger communities. Awareness is one of the most powerful tools we have to protect more lives.
