The US has a cosmopolitan population with a significant number of families facing childhood leukemia. According to the American Cancer Society, approximately 11,050 new cases of cancer between the ages of 0-14 are diagnosed in the US each year, of which approximately 3,300 are new cases of leukemia. Given the population density and diversity of New York City alone, there is a great need for compre
hensive support services to address the needs of affected children and their families.
After 25 years of experience in Turkey, we decided to expand our reach by establishing LOSEV USA. We aim to leverage our broad expertise and share our experience in providing support and care for leukemia and other blood-related diseases. Our mission transcends borders, as we aim to collaborate effectively with our counterparts around the world to contribute to the fight against pediatric cancer worldwide. Through this international partnership, we aim to make a significant impact on the lives of children worldwide, providing quality care and support to those in need.
LOSEV USA will operate as a non-profit organization that aims to support children diagnosed with leukemia and their families in the USA. We will collaborate with hospitals, medical professionals, volunteers and donors to provide holistic support services.
Our programs will include the following forms of support:
- Financial assistance for medical treatments,
- Counseling and psychological support,
- Education support,
- Recreational activities to support the well-being of affected children and their families.
