And that’s a wrap! Mia spent some time with the Pliken students and with Mrs. Kamotho, the Founder of the Upendo School and grandmother to dozens of girls before her trip home. A very successful week indeed for the New Fairfield LEOs Club and huge thanks to our in-country coordinator Joan!

14 years ago was Melissa’s first trip to Africa and what a life changing trip it was! When we look back, we are so proud of everything we have accomplished for EACH Kids.

Mia is hard at work in Busia with Pliken visiting the students and giving away confidence kits to help support girls staying in school. We appreciate all of the generous donors including New Fairfield LEOs Club that made Mia’s trip and the confidence kits possible!

Mia is having an amazing and productive time in Kenya! On Friday, Mia attended training on women’s health screenings and then on Saturday at the Medical Camp they began to see patients and Mia completed intake forms for over 800 patients from the community. We are so proud of her and the impact she is making with EACH and PLIKEN!
