Welcome to ImprovIce, a class that combines hands-on cocktail-making with improv games. You'll be making and tasting a number of cocktails while learning the basics of mixology and playing improv games in between. Instructors and co-founders, Roman and Svetlana, will teach you how easy and fun it is to mix your own specialty cocktails, all while breaking the “ice”! We do parties, corporate events,

Svetlana aka “Ice Queen” will equip you with the tools and know-how to turn everyday ingredients into craft cocktails. Every participant will have their own bar station and stir/shake/pour their drinks into the appropriate glassware. The focus of this portion of class is simplicity, balance, and, of course, improvisation. More about Svetlana below. MEET THE FOUNDERS
Roman Zelichenko has been performing improv for over half a decade. His alma maters include Magnet Theater, the PIT, and DCImprov. What started as a fun summer activity in law school turned into a never-ending pursuit to bring improv into every part of his life. And so he did: running team-building workshops in the office and tackling awkwardness among friends. When not “Yes, And-ing” everything that comes his way, Roman works in finance, climbs rocks, rides down snowy mountains, and eats all over the world. Svetlana Turova is by profession an attorney with gourmet inclinations and a passion for cocktails. Her blog, License to Pour (licensetopour.com), is a portfolio of potables set on a backdrop of leatherbound books that aims to quench the thirst of the cocktail enthusiast. Svetlana is also co-founder of Mixologist Technologist, a cocktail equipment and design company. Svetlana’s mixology repertoire includes signature cocktail creation for weddings, private company cocktail hours, and restaurant spirit programs. "Like" this page for future class offerings!
