To transform underprivileged and minority communities and individuals into informed and vibrant members of society through civic, educational and personal development programs, by fostering active participation in social and economic activity. We at UNITED SIKHS believe that the development of enlightened and progressive societies can be made possible by socially conscious groups of p

eople who make a commitment to develop and direct human potential. Accordingly, UNITED SIKHS has sought to fulfil its mission not only by informing, educating and uplifting fellow beings but also by participating in cross-cultural and social dialogues to ensure that the promises and benefits of democracy are realised by all. UNITED SIKHS is also an avenue for networking between like-minded organisations to establish and nurture meaningful projects and dialogues - whether social, cultural or spiritual- to promote harmony, understanding and reciprocity in our villages, towns and cities. To achieve its objectives, UNITED SIKHS also participates in coalitions that share a common vision based on the belief that there is no greater endeavour than to serve, empower and uplift fellow beings. The consequences of CDL enforcement decisions extend into homes, workplaces, and communities throughout New York State. Ensuring due process, fairness, and justice for commercial drivers is essential to protecting the people and families who keep our economy moving.

As New York challenges federal actions that could impact thousands of Commercial Driver License holders, many members of our community face uncertainty about how they can continue to support their families.

At UNITED SIKHS, we believe due process, fairness, and accountability must remain at the center of every decision that impacts people’s lives. Drivers and community members who have been affected, or could be affected, by CDL-related actions are encouraged to share their experiences to support informed advocacy. Your voice creates the momentum for change and justice.
