🌍✨ The DMV showed up and showed OUT for Global Tassels

Last night, the Global Tassels community gathered on the rooftop of the iconic Graham Hotel in Georgetown, Washington, D.C. for an intimate mixer and the vibes were absolutely unmatched.

Guests had the opportunity to connect with the President & CEO and Founder of Global Tassels, build meaningful relationships, and learn more about our mission to expand college access for high-potential youth around the world. All with a gorgeous Georgetown skyline as the backdrop.

As we prepare for the 12th Annual Global Tassels Founder’s Gala on August 1 in New York City, we would like to recognize and celebrate the dedicated leaders who have served as Gala Chairs since our founding in 2014. Their leadership, vision, and commitment have helped make each gala a meaningful and successful celebration of our mission.

WELCOMING NEW BOARD MEMBERS.

Pepper Reed is a dedicated public servant, community advocate, licensed REALTOR®, and proud mother committed to service, leadership, and empowering others. She currently serves as a Chambers Administrator with the United States Tax Court, supporting judicial operations and the administration of justice. Her professional experience spans public service, legal administration, corporate leadership, customer relations, and community engagement.

In addition to her public service career, Pepper is a licensed REALTOR® serving clients throughout Washington, DC and Maryland. She is passionate about helping individuals and families achieve their homeownership goals through integrity, professionalism, and personalized service.

A strong advocate for education and civic engagement, Pepper is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Legal Communications and Strategic Management at Howard University and holds an Associate of Applied Science in Legal Assistance from the University of the District of Columbia. She has also earned certifications in paralegal studies, property management, real estate, and notary services.

Pepper is an active community leader, serving on the OSSE Parent Advisory Board, the Board of Directors of Mary's Center, and several local advisory and engagement committees. Her commitment to family advocacy, education, and community empowerment has earned her numerous leadership and service recognitions.

As a new member of the Global Tassels Board of Directors, Pepper brings a wealth of experience in public service, community leadership, advocacy, and strategic engagement. Her passion for creating opportunities and strengthening communities aligns closely with Global Tassels' mission of advancing education, leadership, and social mobility worldwide.
