📣 Hi, folks! This is a friendly reminder that applications for the 2024 PreProBono Fellowship are open!
What is PreProBono?
It is a highly selective one year program with 3 phases that prepare promising public interest minded individuals who need financial aid or are part of an underrepresented group to gain acceptance into top law schools in the country by providing:
* Comprehensive LSAT prep via 7Sage
* Admissions & Writing Workshops
* Weekly Speaker Series with PPB Alumni (including graduates from T-15 law schools), public interest lawyers, and corporate lawyers
Eligibility Requirements:
* Must be in financial need (as determined by FAFSA or Financial Information) or a member of a underrepresented minority group
* Be committed to participating in the 10 week intensive summer program—Monday through Friday—from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. PPB Summer 2024 is planned to be hybrid and based in Manhattan.
* Commit to taking the LSAT in Fall 2024, and apply to law school by the conclusion of the 2025-2026 cycle
* Be a junior or senior in college or already graduated
How to Apply:
Upload the following information via Google Forms at www.preprobono.org
* Unofficial Undergraduate Transcript
* FAFSA or Financial Information
* Resume including community involvement and volunteer experience
* 500 word essay outlining your understanding of PreProBono’s mission, how you fit in, and why you want to help us achieve it
* Optional addendum for GPA or gaps in resume
Letter of Recommendation from a professor or work supervisor should be emailed to [email protected]
You are encouraged to apply early as applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis! Please note that upon your admission to the PreProBono Fellowship, we will require a $500 refundable seat deposit.
