On behalf of The Royalz Fam,
I would like to THANK EVERYONE who came out to support on for , this past Sunday, August 2nd.
Special thanks to the active members of The Royalz Family!
Thank you to our director Charms Baptiste, Top Kweenz Sir-Ray Ray, Whitney JC, Unique Singletary....Our Royal Kyngz Doza Utopian, Ki MrSpice Mc & Hurri Kyng for ALL that you did to make our event a success.
Thank you to our sibling organizations EyeXclusive Events, Caribbean AmericanPride & .
Our DJ Jay Pres and MC NYC Jazzy, Thank you for being patient and professional ALWAYS. Many thanks to Bri Oneal our photographer and videographer for documenting this epic event. We hope that had a great bday celebration and hope you'll join us in the years to come.
We truly tripled in numbers after our third year of throwing a solid, community/family based, drama-free event that was full of fun and positive vibes. Don't you agree?
There were so many old friends, new friends, Royalz Kyngz and Kweenz in numbers locally and from abroad (love you bro Kyng Alijah Beckford welcome home!), family units in every variation, from children to CEO's, pets to professionals, the closeted to the flaming, the bold to the timid... Every representation of our rich and culturally diversified LGBTQ community were in attendance and we could not have been more proud and honored to host this event. Thank you Jesus for allowing us to celebrate our third year of Pride successfully and apparently always better than the last!
Thanks so much to Forbes and the crew for all that we were able to accomplish together in such a short time.
Special thanks to & for sharing with me the most fitting words which truly became like the breath of life to propel me through such a grueling event; words that will remain with me for all of my days and have lit the fire of my motivation. We love you both!
Thank you to my immediate family including Trini Toussaint, Camz Lezplayradio personal friends, acquaintances, co-workers and supporters for showing just how much you support me and my organization, The Royalz Family.
We have truly stuck to our mission..."to bridge the gaps within the LGBTQ community of color".....and we will continue to bring you events and programs that aid in the fusing of the community as a whole.
We would like to say that although Riis Beach is known as the "gay beach" and expectedly the most accepting, it has become more obvious with the restrictions they have put in place, are resulting in more difficulty to obtain certain permissions to have a smooth event. So on their behalf, we would like to apologize for the periodic annoyances that plagued the event. Rest assured, we've got you covered. Wherever we are, know that your best interest and safety is always first to be considered. THEY WILL NEVER STOP US!
Meet us next year on AUGUST 7th, 2016 for !!!!!
Sorry if I left anyone out! Brain cells slowly returning....
