We don’t know about you, but we’re feeling like we’re 22 donations away from reaching our goal of 499 donations to Give a Kid a Seat! That's one donation for every seat in the New Victory! 🥳

All season long, audiences have been donating vital dollars that help us share the magic of New Victory with 20,000 students each year. Plus, New 42 Board Member Leigh Bishop is matching every donation up to $2,500 until June 30, so you can double your impact!"

The last time the Knicks won the NBA championship was in 1973. What did the New Victory Theater look like back then? Not how you are expecting!

Long before their 1973 championship, the New Victory Theater housed the longest-running show on Broadway, ABIE'S IRISH ROSE, and became Broadway's first burlesque club. But in 1972, the New Victory Theater became the block's first and only ###-rated movie house.

Seventeen years after the Knicks won the 1973 championship (and 36 years before they won their next championship!), The New 42nd Street was established by the City and State to revitalize 42nd Street's historic theaters, including the New Victory Theater.

GO NY GO! 🧡💙
