Take Action TODAY (March 27):
We're calling on Governor Cuomo (NY) and Governor Newsom (CA) to grant clemencies and other releases IMMEDIATELY for elders in prison and others in prison who are vulnerable to COVID-19.

You can join by calling or tweeting at Governors Cuomo and Newsom any time today. If your schedule allows, join the “Twitter power hour” at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m PT. Here are 3 actions you can take:

Take a photo of yourself holding a sign that says some version of "Gov. Cuomo & Newsom: (see sample photo below).
Tweet your photo with this message:

(Not on Twitter? Send your photo to Amanda Maisel at [email protected] or message it to Fordham Law Advocates for the Incarcerated to have it shared for you!)

2. Call-in Campaign:
Call Governor Cuomo (518-474-8390) and Governor Newsom (916-445-2841).
Encourage others to do the same by tweeting the phone script graphic with this message:

Since the outbreak of , & have used their clemency power to release ZERO people. Where are our “progressive” governors? We need action NOW or preventable deaths will become death by incarceration sentences.
