On October 14, Arturo O’Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra welcome an incredible lineup to City Winery NYC:

🎷 “Blue” Lou Marini & Leon Pendarvis of the Blues Brothers Band, bringing decades of American musical history to the stage. Together, they’ll reimagine soul and blues classics through the lens of Afro Latin jazz.

🎤 Daymé Arocena, GRAMMY-nominated Cuban singer and composer, whose powerful voice draws from Afro-Cuban tradition, jazz, neo-soul, and the spiritual music of her upbringing.

🎹 Arturo O’Farrill’s world premiere, House of the Rising Son Montuno, a brand-new composition written especially for the evening.

🪘 The Fat Cats, Belongó’s pre-professional youth ensemble, celebrating 15 years of music, mentorship, and community.

Casa Blues is our annual benefit, supporting free music education in NYC public schools, community programs across the city, and our journey toward opening Casa Belongó in East Harlem.
