Street Corner Resources (SCR) will bring together young people from its programs, violence interrupters, outreach workers and community leaders to recognize a dramatic reduction in deadly street violence in Harlem this summer and rally for continued peace as young people head into the school year. According to an SCR analysis of NYPD CompStat data, non-domestic street homicides in the Harlem area dropped 75% this year.
