My name is Christopher Hickman; I am currently the interim Chairman of the NY Metro Chapter of the Social Enterprise Alliance. I am currently working to fill a number of open positions in the Chapter, with an eye toward reinvigoration of the Chapter in 2016. I anticipate a wealth of activity in the coming year and the Chapter is looking for dynamic and forward-thinking individuals. You are all contacted because you are or have been members of the NY Metro Chapter - if you are no longer a member and would prefer not to receive additional notices, please let me know and I will remove you from the list.

I will send follow-up emails about the election process, the list of candidates, and the like, after I have a slate of nominees for open positions.

In the meantime, the NY Metro Chapter is seeking the following:

The SEA – NY Metro Chapter is currently seeking leaders from the field to fill upcoming open positions on the board. This is a tremendous opportunity for SEA members to help advance the field of social enterprise by serving on the local strategic body of SEA.

Board members are elected for 2 terms. The board seeks gender, racial and geographic diversity, and practitioners from emerging to advanced enterprises are strongly encouraged to apply. The deadline to submit nominations is Monday, November 9, 2015.
