✨ We are honored to welcome Dr. Angela Amar as this year’s keynote speaker! ✨

Dr. Angela Frederick Amar, PhD, RN, ANEF, FAAN is the Dean of NYU Meyers School of Nursing and a nationally recognized leader in gender-based violence research. Her scholarship has helped shape campus safety policy across the country. She is also a leading voice in nursing education related to violence prevention and forensic care.

Dr. Amar is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, where she currently serves on the Board of Directors as President-elect, a Fellow of the Academy of Nursing Education, and a Distinguished Fellow of the International Association of Forensic Nursing. She currently chairs the Government Affairs Committee of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing.
Her leadership, scholarship, and commitment to advancing nursing make her an inspiring voice for this year’s celebration. We are excited to welcome her as we come together to celebrate nursing excellence, leadership, and our commitment to investing in the next generation of Black nurses. 💚🖤💛
