The Barnard Teacher Network

The Barnard Teacher Network The Barnard Teacher Network (BTN) is committed to support and connect teachers of the Barnard College Education Program.

Welcome to the Barnard Teacher Network Page ! After graduating from the Barnard College Education Program, its certified teachers travel to all four corners of the world to support the public education system in teaching equity and addressing social issues in their classrooms. The BTN is designed to bring these teachers together - along with integrating the program's current students - to share th

eir experiences and thoughts on the job, through conversation, and events on and off campus. This page is meant as a platform for discussion. Current students: talk to your alumni about their time with the program and with the job. Ask questions about course load to postgrad job-hunting to ideas on social justice and public education. Graduates: jumpstart conversations about the more challenging side of the job, share your stories about your experience in your new classrooms, post pictures. We look forward to hearing from both the past and present teachers!
