We are joining our friends at in their day of action to bring awareness to e-bike safety! 🚲

✅ Did you know that e-bikes can go up to 28mph? That’s way faster than the speed of an average kid on a bike!
✅ It’s important parents and caregivers understand the different definitions and types of e-bikes so they can make a safe and informed choice about what they are giving kids.
âś… Most importantly, everyone on wheels should be wearing a helmet no matter how long or short their ride is. Make is a rule: no helmet, no wheels.
âś… Families can work with their teens to build trust and keep everyone safe with a safety agreement.

How much do you know about e-bikes and your own child’s readiness for one? 🚲🤔

Not only is it it is also the last day of National Playground Safety Week! Therefore, we are highlighting a recent publication from Jyu et al looking at pediatric fracture patterns (aka broken bones)due to consumer products. They found that most of these broken bones happen at home from falls or while playing sports.

Playgrounds are a common place to get a broken bone. While these injuries have declined over time due to improved safety standards, consumers products remain a common cause of broken bones in kids.
