Our Lifeline Grocery Initiative is a sliding scale grocery program that offers local, nutrient dense groceries to households across Queens. Our free groceries are available to families who are out of work and do not qualify for unemployment or sufficient government assistance. Our sliding scale options are available to any community member and allow you to contribute to your community while reconnecting with where your food comes from. And every household deserves access to fresh, nutrient-dense ingredients. By signing up for a Lifeline Grocery package, you are joining us in our mission to ensure that every person in Queens has access to local, nutritious food. First off, thank you to our volunteers, our partners, our supporters, and Lifeline Groceries customers.

Over the last week, our team partnered with the , and to distribute close to 2,000 additional fresh Lifeline Groceries’ boxes to families across Queens. Our walk-in fridge is empty for now, ready to be restocked next week. Because the need isn’t slowing down.

With grocery prices at an all time high and families still reeling from SNAP delays, there is still very much an urgent need for fresh, nutrient-dense food.

This Giving Tuesday, we’re aiming to raise $350,000 toward our major campaign goal.Thanks to this incredible community, we’ve already raised $340,261 in just six months. We are so close.
