⋆.˚🦋༘⋆•*¨*•.¸¸☆* Somatic Flow led by Bri Rose is a breath work activation intentionally created to ease the nervous system by making space for individuals to meditate, move, and connect with their bodies & intuition. There will be ambient & R&B music and intuitive movements & breathwork. This practice creates environments that feel culturally grounded, affirming, and relational rather than extractive or clinical. Anxiety, burnout, and emotional overload are common realities. Breathwork, movement, and somatic practices offer tools for regulation, resilience, and self-soothing that people can carry beyond the session.

Briana Rose’s work is shaped by an intersectional lens rooted in her experience as a q***r Black woman. She explores freestyle and somatic movement as pathways for releasing anger and grief, while attuning to the body’s language during moments of joy. Her practice weaves movement with music frequencies, meditation, and breathwork, offering a sanctuary for powerful healing modalities and compassionatei space-holding. Deeply connected to her ancestors and committed to land stewardship, Briana creates brave spaces for kind souls to reconnect with the earth they occupy. Her work highlights the importance of tending to the land, learning how to grow one’s own food, and remembering our reciprocal relationship with nature. As the world becomes increasingly entangled with technology, her practice invites a return to the body and the magic of being human through community care and embodied presence.

Soundbath for release is a guided breath work session followed by soundbath led by . Mila Gama is a yoga and Pilates instructor, Reiki Level III practitioner, sound healer, meditation teacher, DJ, and photographer born in Lima, Peru, and based in Miami. Her work exists at the intersection of artistry and healing. Her journey began with yoga, meditation, and sound, practices that shaped her understanding of movement and music as pathways to true transformation. Rooted in the belief that the body is a wise and gentle guide, her approach is holistic, emotional, and deeply human, blending intuition, care, and presence into every experience she creates. Through her sessions, Mila fosters nurturing spaces designed to help people reconnect with their true nature. •*¨*•.¸¸☆*⋆.˚🦋༘⋆ On June 18, from 5:00 PM–9:00 PM at Trans-Pecos, we’re activating BODYTECH: an evening of body-based wellness practices exploring breathwork, somatic movement, and sound healing. Through three immersive activations, participants will engage in accessible tools for nervous system regulation, self-connection, and restoration.

Somatic Flow with Bri Rose
Somatic Flow is a breathwork and movement experience designed to support nervous system regulation through meditation, intuitive movement, and embodied connection. Set to ambient and R&B soundscapes, the practice offers grounding tools for resilience, self-awareness, and emotional well-being.

Soundbath for Release with Mila Gama
Led by sound healer, meditation teacher, and DJ Mila Gama, this guided sound bath and breathwork session invites participants into deep presence, relaxation, and reconnection. Through sound and intentional breath, the practice encourages creativity, openness, and emotional release.

Internatech with Star Mitchell
Internatech combines reflection, somatic inquiry, and collective movement to explore the patterns and systems held within the body. Through guided prompts, body scans, and collaborative movement practices, participants will deepen their connection to themselves and leave with embodied tools they can return to beyond the workshop.

BODYTECH is an invitation to explore healing as a lived, embodied practice—one rooted in breath, movement, sound, community, and the technology already within us.

As always our workshops are free and sliding scale to keep everything accessible, donations help us sustain our mission of empowering the next generation of creatives and bringing resources to our community.
