We are beyond excited to announce our first workshop at on June 16th with AI consultant, creative technologist, artist and founder of .world ♡

In the age of AI, finding a sense of purpose and identity can feel more nebulous than ever. The creative industry has been completely disrupted, and creatives, communities, and companies aren’t sure how to move forward. This event will serve as a way to come together, rediscover a sense of curiosity, and create community. We’re all going through this together, so the only way we can make it through is together. Please join us on June 16th at for a presentation, film screening and group discussion about the intersections of art, the human experience and AI.

🌱🌳🍀EARTH ANGELS WE OUTSIDEEEEEE! Come join us on June 10th at Prospect Park for a magical Botanical Cyanotype Printmaking workshop with our earth angel Jaélynn Dominguez aka .e.i.b.a 🌱🌳🍀

Learn print making using nature’s technology - a camera-less printing technique which originated in the 19th century known as cyanotype printing. Participants will go through the process of creating sun printed compositions using foraged plants and other found objects to create original artworks and be able to go home with a beautiful cyanotype print. Chemistry and canvas provided.

As always, our workshops are free, sliding scale and open to all.

Donations are *strongly* encouraged as they help us keep our workshops accessible to all and continue our mission of providing free and sliding scale educational resources and opportunities for creatives.

We’re so excited to announce our upcoming workshop collab with on May 19th from 5–7 PM EST an online workshop will explore how was built from the ground up using accessible tools, a streamlined production pipeline, and a focus on making game development more approachable to artists and beginners. The session highlights how modern workflows have lowered the barrier to entry, especially through affordable VR sculpting tools and widely available software.

A live VR sculpting demo will serve as the centerpiece, showing how traditional artists can quickly create high-quality 3D assets using inexpensive headsets and move those creations into Blender for refinement and then into Unity for real-time gameplay. The workshop also breaks down how development was accelerated using prebuilt systems and community resources from platforms like GitHub and Gumroad, along with insights into funding and collaboration with artists in Palestine to support production in a more distributed way.

Students work on their own venture ideas while exploring both the tactical possibilities — using AI help with admin/operating costs, reach more people, personalize programs at scale, and punch above their weight — and the real tradeoffs: algorithmic bias hitting marginalized communities hardest, data privacy, energy costs, labor displacement, and erosion of authentic community connection

Phi Pham is an entrepreneur, investor and DJ building at the intersection of music, technology, and community. This workshop offers a beginner-friendly introduction to Ableton Live Suite 11, a powerful music production software used by artists worldwide. As a self-taught DJ and producer, TOTAL XTC will share his personal workflow and creative process, demonstrating how he creates his own tracks from scratch. The session is designed to be practical, approachable, and inspiring - perfect for anyone curious about making music, whether you’re just starting out or looking to expand your skills.

Total XTC is a New York City-born DJ and producer working across dembow, dancehall, reggaeton, club, and breaks. His work explores the fusion of Afro-Caribbean rhythms with electronic dance music, creating genre-blurring sets that bridge underground and mainstream spaces. Operating with an experimental approach, he brings his unique sound to music, art, and fashion contexts internationally.

You don’t need any prior DJ experience to join. By the end, you’ll have a clear understanding of how Rekordbox works, how to access it for free, and how to move from your laptop to playing on actual DJ equipment. The idea is to give you a solid foundation so you can keep practicing and figuring things out on your own, even without regular access to gear.
