Hello my name is Christine fields I'm 28 years old living at 303 Vernon Houses Brooklyn Ny. I am RESTARTING this non-profit organization for the children of tomorrow. This organization is called S.O.F (Save Our Future) , the goal of this program is to teach our children that their surroundings shouldn't limit the expectations that they set for themselves. To ultimately change the ways they think and to SAVE OUR FUTURE!
This would be achieved by having leadership meetings as well as peer mediation to teach kids the correct way to react to situations.
Home work help and tutoring for children in elementary school years 8 and older as well as teenagers In middle school
And high schoolers under 18 years old
Monthly incentives
Kids who bring back our monthly progress reports signed by their teachers and parents would be invited to our monthly incentive party and would receive gifts
Fundraisers such as car washes, movies nights for kids and adults, bake sales, candy sales, school supply drives .
Funds from the fundraisers Would help pay for our annual family day (block party) and educational trips for the kids 15% of the money earned will go into a separate account to help with our long term goals
Long term goals :
Each child will have a savings account opened in their name and as long as they are apart of S.O.F we will donate $10 a month into the savings account until the child turns 18
