Shafiq Hicks (he/him) is a sought after vocalist, actor, recording artist and teaching artist. Hicks has collaborated with such artists as Estelle, Andrea Bocelli, Sam Smith and Aretha Franklin. Hicks has enjoyed a plethora of theatrical credits including Collins in Rent Revival 2016: 20th Anniversary (and 25th Anniversary Tours), Agwe in Once On This Island (STONC), Beast in Beauty and the Beast (STONC), Stew in PASSING STRANGE (Long Wharf Theatre), and Lion in The Wiz (Theatre In The X). Hicks works with a plethora of schools and programs and also operates his own private voice studio called Vocal Journeys, with the goal of “finding the YOU in your voice”. -based soprano, Julia Lamon, has been described as a “consummate artist...with vocal excellence and dramatic efficiency” - El Nuevo Herald - Miami).

Active in the local NYC music-scene, Ms. Lamon’s recordings were recently featured in an independent film project, Pandemia: Exercises in Solitude. Additionally, Lamon premiered Modern Muse by Kevin Wilt at OPERA America.

Lamon garnered international demand through repeat concert engagements with the State Symphonic Orchestra of .

Ms. Lamon is on the Voice Faculty at Wagner College in Staten Island, NY.

Ms. Lamon’s credits include the title role in The Ballad of Baby Doe, Adele (Die Fledermaus), Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass (Soprano Soloist), Hansel and Gretel (Gretel), Die Zauberflöte (Pamina), I Capuleti e i Montecchi (Guilietta), Le nozze di Figaro (Susanna), and Madama Butterfly (Kate Pinkerton).

Musician and educator .goinz has performed in venues around the world, created arrangements that have been heard from to , and enjoyed collaborations with prominent artists of our day. As a vocalist, he appears regularly with GRAMMY-recognized ensembles The Clarion Choir & The Clarion Orchestra, The Choir at Trinity Wall Street, Skylark, and Seraphic Fire. Matthew works as a music director, conductor, pianist, vocalist, and arranger based in . Recent MD, keys, and conducting credits include Spring Awakening, Legally Blonde, Cabaret, Young Frankenstein, Spamalot, Seussical, [title of show], and Songs for a New World. He received his doctorate in conducting from the University of Maryland. My whole heart to SA.

A Native of Brooklyn, New York Tislam Swift has performed on a wide array of concert stages, theaters and opera houses. He discovered his love for Opera while he was a member of the 2013-2014 season of the The Atlanta Opera chorus, under the direction of Maestro Walter Huff. In 2014, he participated in The Princeton Festival Opera at Mccarter Theatre's production of Porgy and Bess. He has made Indiana University Opera Theater appearances in La Bohème, South Pacific, The Barber of Seville, Carmen, Parsifal, Die Fledermaus as Dr.Blind, as the Comic Marcellus Washburn in Meredith Wilson’s The Music man, as Scaramuccio in Strauss ’Ariadne Ariadne Auf Naxos, as a street singer soloist in Leonard Bernstein’s Mass and most recently as Arnalta in Claudio Monteverdi’s Coronation of Poppea. As a Young Artist, he has spent a summer at the Utah Festival Opera Musical Theater performing in productions of Ragtime, Porgy and Bess and Peter Pan. Mr. Swift has been a World-Premier Artist with the Negro Spiritual Scholarship Foundation. He is very passionate about bringing music to the community and was a featured artist in the City of Bloomington’s People’s Park Concert Series, highlighting art songs and spirituals by Black composers. Most recently, he joined the Unsung Collective in New York in their performance of the Mozart Requiem for the Mostly Mozart Festival. He was also a member of the Harlem Chamber Player’s production of R. Nathaniel Dett’s The Ordering of Moses in the centennial celebration for the Harlem Renaissance, under the direction of composer, pianist, singer and conductor Damien Sneed. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from Morehouse College and a Master of Music from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, where he is currently a Doctoral candidate under the tutelage of Jane Dutton. Tislam is currently on faculty at the Calhoun School in New York where he teaches voice and choir.
