We promise to deliver the best 24 hour 7 day a week telephone counseling for youth in crisis. We promise to create a safe space, through our lifeline and online, for LGBTQ youth. We promise to deliver our message of su***de prevention in schools throughout the country. We promise to hire a highly qualified and professional staff and providing them with incentives. We promise to operate our board, our committees, our lifeline, our offices and our events with the utmost integrity. Innovation
We have been and will continue to be pioneers in reaching out to youth in crisis; whether it's in schools, on the lifeline or online. We will be stewards in nonprofit fundraising (events, Circle of Hope, direct mail campaigns). We will be innovative in our recruiting and retention of staff, volunteers, and board members.

Thank you to everyone who joined us last Wednesday at our NextGen Spring Social at Rise.

You helped raise $7650 to support The Trevor Project's mission to help end LGBTQ su***de.

It was incredible to feel the energy and support for The Trevor Project among the 300+ attendees last Wednesday at Rise Bar. We had folks from NYTimes, NBC, Amazon, Mount Sinai, Google, PWC, Bloomberg, Edelman, Accenture, and Buzzfeed NY at the event. The room was packed and full of incredible energy.

Le***an, Gay, Bisexual youth are 4X more likely to attempt su***de than their straight peers. And, almost 40% of all trans people have attempted su***de. Trevor's call volume doubled within 24 hours after the last election. The need for Trevor's services has never been higher. This is why every dollar helps to make sure all LGBTQ young people have access to the support they deserve.

Many of you expressed interest in getting your companies involved with Trevor. We love that! Please reach out to Muneer Panjwani ([email protected]) to start that conversation.

We can't wait to see you all very soon at our next event, Spring It On: A Rooftop Party By Trevor NextGen at The Delancey Hotel on May 10th. Tickets will go on sale starting next week.
