¡Es oficialmente ! Entre el 1 de octubre y el 31 de mayo, los propietarios de edificios de están legalmente obligados a proporcionar calefacción. Durante el día, cuando las temperaturas exteriores caen por debajo de los 55° F, la temperatura interior mínima requerida es de 68°. Durante la noche, la temperatura mínima requerida es de 62°, ¡no importa qué!
Si su apartamento carece de calefacción y/o agua caliente adecuada, comuníquese primero con el propietario o el superintendente. Si no se restablece el servicio, puede registrar una queja oficial en NYC 311. Obtenga más información:

Building owners are legally required to provide heat and hot water to their tenants. Hot water must be provided 365 days per year at a constant minimum temperature of 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Heat must be provided between October 1st and May 31st, i.e. "Heat Season," under the following conditions:
