Money conversations shouldn’t start for students after you graduate. They should start now…

The Nigel Sylvester Foundation’s Money Mindset program is back for a third year, a 4-week financial literacy experience built for high school juniors and seniors across New York City.

Starting April 13 with Lincoln High School, we’re bringing real financial education into classrooms across the city:

• Lincoln High School
• Mathematics, Science Research & Technology High School
• Benjamin N. Cardozo High School
• Richmond High School

Last year, 79% of students say they left more confident about their finances. This year, we’re raising the bar, including awarding 4 scholarships, up from 2 in 2025.

Yesterday was a day to remember!

We hosted our third annual Bike-a-Day in May, honoring 31 incredible students—young leaders in the community. This event is always a highlight for us, and seeing the joy and excitement on their faces reminds us exactly why we do this work.

Big thanks to our amazing sponsors and for making sure each student went home with a brand-new bike, hats, and duffel bags! Your generosity helps us create memories that last a lifetime.
