In 2025/26 our work from the NIE UK team reached over 22,000 people….locally, nationally and internationally.

From international audiences to local workshop participants, schools in rural Cambridgeshire to the oldest working theatre in New York we were able to show that live theatre and creative activity has the power to inspire and make a difference.

As we continue to build on 25 years of artistic excellence and achievement, our work to enrich people’s lives through cultural engagement, high quality theatre productions and shared experiences will be underpinned with our core values of fairness, inclusion and environmental sustainability.

NIE UK is looking for pledges of £100 or more to help us take part in the Big Give Christmas Appeal. These pledges will help us unlock matched funding in December, meaning every donation can go twice as far in supporting our 2027 Creative Learning projects.

This spring our production of Once Upon a Time in Fenland reached more than 1,000 people, including rural young people who rarely have the opportunity to experience live theatre. With your support, we can continue creating opportunities like these.

Step into the world of our performance Brothers & Sisters ✨, devised from the real experiences of young people living with mental health challenges - or supporting someone who is.

We performed this show in English and Norwegian, with subtitles in Czech and Polish so far.

This post includes the trailer and moments from the performance, as captured during the NIE 25 years anniversary festival at Palác Akropolis this May.
