We are dedicated to championing artisans, weavers, and craftspeople from Mindanao. We create platforms to showcase their creations and implement programs that enhance their livelihoods. Our mission is to preserve, protect, and celebrate the traditional and indigenous arts and cultural heritage of Filipinos and Filipino Americans from Mindanao, fostering cultural, educational, and economic exchanges between our communities.

Meet the tradition bearers and performers joining us at Dreamweaver Festival: NAWA Heritage Day! ✨

The Dreamweaver Collective is honored to welcome artists and community members who keep living traditions alive through dance, music, storytelling, and the sharing of cultural knowledge.

While our work centers on the Indigenous heritage of Mindanao, our performers will share dance traditions from across the Philippines, celebrating the diversity of our cultural heritage.

Connecting cultural preservation, representation, and community service. 🇵🇭🇺🇸

The Dreamweaver Collective (TDC) joined Congresswoman Shirlyn Bañas-Nograles, TDC Board Advisor and Representative of the Lone District of General Santos City, for a courtesy call on Acting Head of Post and Consul Juan Carlos C. Borromeo at the Philippine Consulate General in New York during her visit to the United States.

Together with Filipino American community leaders with roots in South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Cotabato, Sarangani, and General Santos City, we discussed sustainability, environmental conservation, cultural preservation, and the importance of representation.

These conversations speak directly to TDC’s mission to preserve, protect, and celebrate the living cultural heritage of Mindanao, and to bring greater visibility to its Indigenous arts, traditions, and communities.

TDC President Cecille Castillon-Weinstein also proposed a consular services outreach in the Hudson Valley and other parts of upstate New York to bring services closer to Filipino residents. Moving this proposal forward would require substantial planning and cooperation among the Consulate and Filipino American organizations across the area.

Joining the meeting were Dr. Dely Go, TDC Vice President for External Affairs; Mr. Henry Go; Bai Darlene Dilangalen Borromeo, TDC Board Advisor; Mrs. Lynn Borinaga Miles, NAWA Heritage Day Head of Hospitality and Vice President of BLISS FilAm Inc. Foundation; and Mrs. Luisa F. Milone, Internal Vice President of SoCSKSarGen-USA. Their experience, thoughtful insights, and commitment to community helped guide a meaningful exchange.

The courtesy call comes ahead of TDC’s NAWA Heritage Day on October 10 at The Living Room at Full Circle in Gardiner, New York. Congresswoman Bañas-Nograles will join us as Guest of Honor to inaugurate our first Dreamweaver Festival in celebration of Filipino American History Month.

For TDC, this gathering is an opportunity to deepen relationships and turn shared cultural pride into continued collaboration and service.

We are in full support of Ms. Marizza Delgado as she represents the Philippines at the Universal Woman 2026 pageant in Cambodia!

In 2025, Marizza reached out to The Dreamweaver Collective and connected with the Tboli community of Lake Sebu to learn more about Tboli Indigenous culture as she prepared to carry our banner in international competitions.

Marizza was also one of the earliest and most generous supporters of our fundraising efforts for the Lake Sebu earthquake recovery.

We deeply appreciate Marizza’s generosity, humility, respect, and genuine interest in learning about and honoring our Indigenous cultural heritage.

Now it’s our turn to cheer her on as she represents the Philippines on the international stage!
