Did you miss our LinkedIn live, "The Power of Women Owning Their Story"? Watch the recap for key insights in our conversation. ⬇️

We are on a mission to get more women to share their stories and use their voices. There is power in more women sharing their stories, as doing so is important for increased visibility, opportunities, and to ensure our cultural narrative is gender balanced.

According to Bizzabo, two-thirds of all conference speakers are men. This leaves women out of important career and business opportunities because speaking is a path to pay equity, equal funding for women-founded companies, and more women in the boardroom and C-suite.

This panel includes women leaders who are using their voices to make an impact and share lessons for others to do the same.

With special guests:
🌟 Bobbie Carlton, Innovation Women
🌟Casey Erin Clark, Co-founder, Vital Voice Training
🌟Julie Fogh, Co-founder, Vital Voice Training
🌟Dr. LaNail R. Plummer Ed.D, LCPC, LPC, NCC, ACS, BC-TMH, Best-Selling Author & Founder of Onyx Therapy Group

'You're responsible for your second thought and your first
action."
When having difficult conversations it's important that
we pause and reflect. Sharing what we think and feel can
be difficult on a normal day and navigating the news and
social spaces at this time can be even tougher
🛠 Here are some tools on how to have a Conscious
Conversation and what your role in allyship could look
like. Sending peace and love from the Consciously

"Despite all the DEI initiatives that have been rolled back, we can’t put the genie back in the bottle. As a society, our demographics are rapidly changing; in roughly 20 years, there will be no ethnic or racial majority in the United States. Rather, we will be a country made up of "minorities." We can’t go backward on inclusion, because doing so will mean we’re voting against ourselves."

-Ashish Kaushal, for Forbes

The time for marketing inclusion has passed; it’s now time to follow through on what we say we are going to do and measure DEI just like any other business initiative. In his latest Forbes article, "Three DEI Policies To Protect In 2023 And Beyond,"  Ashish Kaushal recommends three policies leaders should support.
