Balance isn’t about doing everything perfectly. It’s about having the right people beside you. 🤍

For women, support can make all the difference. A conversation, a helping hand, or simply knowing someone has your back can create space for greater well-being.

How can you support someone in your life today?

from The Junior League of Houston, Inc., TX.

More than 100 Junior League of Houston members came together on Saturday to volunteer at Childspree, an annual back-to-school event hosted by Child Advocates that the League proudly supports each year.

Through our longstanding partnership with Child Advocates and Target, approximately 100 Houston-area foster children enjoyed a private shopping experience before the store opened to the public. Each child was paired with a Junior League member who served as their personal shopper, helping them select new clothing, shoes and other back-to-school essentials. Every child also received breakfast, a new backpack and school supplies to help them start the school year with confidence.

While the new clothes and school supplies are important, Childspree is about so much more. It's about helping children feel seen, supported and excited for the school year ahead while reminding them their community is cheering them on.

Thank you to our incredible provisional, active and sustainer members who volunteered their time to make this special day possible. Together, we continue building a better community—one child, one family and one act of service at a time.

✨ Flashback Friday ✨

In honor of National Book Lovers Day on August 9, we’re looking back to 1999, when the Junior League of Annapolis brought stories to life through the 2000 Pages Reading Marathon across Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

League members and community volunteers gathered at locations including the Clay Street Clinic, the Department of Social Services’ Family Support Center, the Kunta Kinte Festival, and the Eastport Library, reading aloud and encouraging children and families to experience the joy of books. Celebrity readers from across the county joined the effort, helping amplify the importance of literacy and learning.

Across the decades, Junior Leagues worldwide have championed literacy and childhood education, leading reading initiatives, building libraries, and creating access to books for children and families in their communities.

As we celebrate 125 years of the Junior League Movement, this moment highlights how a shared love of reading can spark connection, confidence, and lifelong learning.

🥣 Big Numbers, Bigger Impact! 🥣
We are so proud to partner with Hunger Fight to help supply much-needed resources to underserved children across the Alachua County area.

In just 4 hours, our team packed:
✨ 25 boxes
✨ 1,050 kits

These efforts contributed to an incredible overall milestone of 75,424 total meals packed!

Together, we’re making sure fewer kids go to school on an empty stomach. Thank you to everyone who lent a hand! 💛

Rest isn't something you have to earn. It's something you deserve.🌷

When women feel the pressure to always do more, it's easy to believe that slowing down means falling behind. But taking time to rest isn't a setback. It's how we protect our well-being, recharge, and show up as our best selves.

That's what Every Woman. All Things. is all about: creating space for honest conversations, healthier expectations, and a future where women don't have to carry it all.
