I'm compiling a list of companies who use prison labor for my students. Please add any more you know of. I realize that some prisoners appreciate these jobs as opposed to janitorial but the wages should be fare so they can have something to come home to or share with families. We can do better, America!

We received a message from prisoners detained in Michigan who wish to make a large donation to The Kite. Prisoners who make pennies on the dollar want to help people heal through writing because they know how much it has helped them with their recovery! How truly humbling!
