Love when a project has legs! Thanks to smack dab dance lab Harvester Arts Wichita Art Museum and Wichita State University Wichita State Performing Arts Built on Stilts Dance Festival my project “Fabricated Need” has gotten to develop from a solo, into a quartert, and now a duet headed on the road. Feeling grateful for the process of creation & discovery during the life of a new work and all the ways it comes together. And before August is over we’ll be co-hosting an event with TISSU Sewing Studio on sustainability & repurposing!! More to come. 👚🧥👗👔🧵🪡♻️

Crazy proud of this crew! Rocked all year long with most of them. These students showed up, worked hard, & have devoured some dance this year. 🤩 We couldn’t have done it without 🎶 beautiful daily creations by who wet along with all my humming shenanigans! Class = Community! Dance every day! Not pictured but major thanks also go to 🎶 .shun for his incredible soundscapes. 💛
