“Pretty much any story that I write on spec is going to be a blender-full of disparate ideas and strange notions that won’t leave me alone because they p**s me off in some motivating way. My job is to make connections between them, to find the underlying emotional truths. I mean, it’s complete torture but I must love it because it keeps happening. I hope listeners enjoy the ride!”

And that’s it, folks! We’ll be back next month with the premiere of — where a feisty fashion influencer discovers there are worse things than getting canceled.

“I love doing sound design for audio fiction. Not only do I get to collaborate with other creatives like Melanie and Chance, but in many ways that collaboration extends to the listeners. We all play a role in creating the world of the story in our heads. And mixing for binaural really helps the listener feel surrounded by the story.”

“I love directing fiction in the podcast space. It's all the best parts of casting and directing, but where stage work with actors is building something replicable, audio drama is like a quick-fire challenge — catching the moment and blending it into a fixed piece. It never hurts to have a great script and a killer audio squad. Oh, and playing a fu**ed up robot is one for the books…”

“This is not my first collaboration with the Nerve Tank. Really enjoyed accompanying this sinister world of our modern times with some subtle synths and tinges of hope. It's great to work on a podcast that's literally ALL about the audio.”

Thanks Chad! More Production Spotlights headed your way soon as we prepare to release

“It was so great to meet new folks in the studio and work with them, but I especially loved getting to reunite with my bestie Jennifer Laine Williams on a project and work with Jessica and Erik who I have been adjacent to in many projects but we've never gotten scenes to play off of each other! To have that mix -- of brand-new to me (and super-talented) actors, the 24 year friendship with Jen and the deepening of my work with Jessica and Erik -- was such a gift. I'd do it again in a heartbeat."

Thanks Ashlie! We’ll be back next week with a spotlight from our production crew as we get ready to launch .

“My character starts out being pretty skeptical of Phyllis' agenda but he becomes a true believer. It's an interesting challenge to make that journey track emotionally in so few scenes, but Melanie was a wonderful director and really helped stitch it all together.”

Thanks Adam! One more performer spotlight to go as we get closer to launching

“What a treat to work in the podcast space again. I've mostly been doing audio books and I Ioved working with this team of killer actors to bring this very damaged young lady to life. Voice acting is the best bc you can do it in your comfiest pants. But it is also the worst bc I'm usually recording alone in a small dark room. Last Resort ruled because I got to be in a spacious bright room (thanks Silver Sound!) with a stupidly talented and hilariously funny cast and with an insightful director AND I still got to keep my comfy pants situation. I’ve been a fan of all things Nerve Tank for decades so being a voice on this was pure joy. Can't wait to hear the finished show!”

Thanks Jennifer! More spotlights—and some big news— coming soon as we get ready to launch .
