What an incredible weekend of music as we brought our season to a close.

To everyone who joined us at Church of St. Francis Xavier — thank you. Your presence, energy, and support mean more to us than words can express.

After weeks and months of rehearsals, preparation, study, collaboration, and deep musical work, hearing your heartfelt responses to these performances reminds us exactly why we do what we do. To know that this music moved, inspired, and stayed with you is the greatest gift we could receive.

What a year for Gabriela Lena Frank!

From her landmark debut this month at the Metropolitan Opera with El último sueño de Frida y Diego to the extraordinary honor of being named a 2026 Pulitzer Prize winner, her voice is reshaping the landscape of American music in the most powerful way.

We at Cantori New York are especially proud to have performed her work in 2023, the NY Premiere of Hombre Errante —an experience that continues to resonate with our singers and audiences alike. Her music is vibrant, evocative, and deeply human.
