Championing new and neglected choral music that deserves the public’s attention.

10/09/2026

Four extraordinary voices join Cantori for a very special concert.

We’re thrilled to welcome an incredible lineup of vocal soloists to the stage this November. Three distinctive voices—countertenor Cody Bowers, tenor Chad Kranak, and baritone Michael Weyandt—join Cantori for Christos Hatzis’s haunting Everlasting Light (lux perpetua), while Megan Esther Grey, contralto, takes center stage in Brian Morales’s brand-new Come Travel With Me.

Four remarkable artists. Two powerful works. One deeply moving program exploring light, memory, connection, and the journey forward.

We can’t wait for you to hear these voices with Cantori.

We dedicate this concert to the memory of Cantori member Jake Snyder. (1994-2026)

The excitement is building for our November concerts! ✨

Our soloists are in place, rehearsals are underway, and a gorgeous new commission by Brian Morales is now complete and ready to come to life alongside music by Carson Cooman, David Hamilton, and Christos Hatzis.

This program holds special meaning for all of us at Cantori, as we dedicate these performances to the memory of our beloved Cantori member Jake Snyder (1994–2026). We can’t wait to share this music—and this remembrance—with you.

Already deep into preparing for our deeply moving November concerts… but there’s always time for a little bonding before rehearsal. 🎶

Our altos taking a moment to catch up, laugh, and enjoy each other before getting down to the serious business of making music.

Because some of the best harmony happens before we even sing a note. 😊

We can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on with you this November!

We kept asking ourselves…

“How do we make sure every singer in New York hears about our auditions?”

We were thinking boosted posts…
Maybe a few flyers…
Perhaps a press release…

This wasn’t exactly what we had in mind… but we’ll take it. 😅

☀️ Cantori may be on summer break, but the music—and the friendships—never stop.

We had a wonderful time at our first summer social last night, catching up with longtime Cantori members, welcoming new faces, and celebrating the incredible community that makes this ensemble so special. It’s always a joy to reconnect, reminisce, and look ahead to another season of extraordinary music together.

🎶 There’s still time to join us! A few roster spots remain for our exciting 2026–2027 season, and auditions will continue throughout the summer.
