Կիրակի, 25 Հոկտեմբերին, Սրբազան Հայրը Գիւտ Խաչի տօնին առթիւ պատարագեց Ս. Աստուածածին եկեղեցւոյ մէջ։ Իր քարոզին մէջ, ան հրաւիրեց, որ իւրաքանչիւր հաւատացեալ զոհագործութեան խորհրդանշան Խաչի ընդմէջէն փնտռէ եւ գտնէ քրիստոնեայի իր կոչումը։ Յաւարտ Ս. Պատարագի, տեղի ունեցաւ հիւրասիրութիւն եկեղեցւոյ սրահին մէջ։

On Sunday, October 25, Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, celebrated the Divine Liturgy and delivered his fatherly message at Soorp Asdvadzadzin Church on the Feast of the Discovery of the Holy Cross. In his sermon, he invited the faithful to seek and find their Christian vocation through the Cross, the symbol of sacrifice. The day concluded with a time of fellowship with the parishioners.

Շաբաթ, 24 Հոկտեմբերի երեկոյեան, Անուշաւան Արքեպիսկոպոս նախագահեց Ս. Աստուածածին եկեղեցւոյ 69-ամեակի ու Գոհաբանութեան տօնի ճաշկերոյթին, որ տեղի ունեցաւ եկեղեցւոյ սրահին մէջ։ Հոգաբարձութեան ատենապետ՝ տիար Յակոբ Անդրանիկեան, միամեայ գործունէութեան ամփոփ պատկերը ներկայացնելով, շնորհակալութիւն յայտնեց բոլոր ծխականներուն իրենց զօրակցութեան համար։ Հոգեւոր հովիւ՝ Արժպ. Տ. Միքայէլ Քհն. Տէր Խոսրովեանը, գոհութիւն յայտնեց, թէ քրիստոնէական սիրոյ եւ համերաշխութեան ոգիով յառաջ կը տարուի գաղութի կեանքը։ Ձեռնարկը փակուեցաւ Առաջնորդ Սրբազան Հօր խոսքով, որ գնահատեց եկեղեցւոյ հոգեւոր հովիւը, որ ձեռնհասօրէն կը վարէ իրեն յանձնուած հօտը, սերտ գործակցութեամբ հոգաբարձութեան հետ, եւ կ՚իրագործէ նորանոր ծրագիրներ։ Տօնախմբութիւնը փակուեցաւ Պահպանիչով եւ «Կիլիկիա»յով։

On Saturday, October 24 in the evening, Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, presided over the 69th Anniversary and Thanksgiving Banquet at Soorp Asdvadzadzin Church. Hagop Antranigian, chairman of the Board of Trustees, presented a summary of the last year activities and thanked all parishioners for their support. Rev. Fr. Mikael Der Kosrofian, Pastor, expressed his joy to see that the life of the community is characterized by Christian love and solidarity spirit. In his closing remarks, the Prelate expressed his appreciation to Rev. Fr. Der Kosrofian for leading the flock entrusted to him in faith, hope and love, and making new achievements in cooperation with the Board of Trustees, The celebration ended with the prayer Bahbanich and the singing of Giligia.

Շաբաթ, 24 Հոկտեմբերին, Թեմիս բարեջան Առաջնորդ՝ Գերշ. Տ. Անուշաւան Արքեպիսկոպոսի գլխաւորութեամբ, Ս. Աստուածածին եկեղեցւոյ (Ուայթընզվիլ, Մէսէչուսէթս) ծխականները, մասնակցեցան տարեկան «Անօթութիւնը կտրել» (Crop Hunger) քայլարշաւին, որ կը հովանաւորուի Նորթպրիճի Եկեղեցիներու Ընկերակցութեան կողմէ։

Այս քայլարշաւը Church World Service-ի նախաձեռնութիւնն է, որուն նպատակն է հանգանակութիւն ընել անօթութեան ու աղքատութեան վերջ տալու Ամերիկայի եւ աշխարհի մէջ։ Հարիւրաւոր կրօնական խմբաւորումներ, գործարարներ, դպրոցներ եւ այլք տեղական քայլարշաւներ կը կազմակերպեն ամէն տարի։

On Saturday, October 24, His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, joined the parishioners of Soorp Asdvadzadzin Church in Whitinsville, Massachusetts, for the annual Crop Hunger Walk. The walk is locally sponsored by the Northbridge Association of Churches.

The Crop Hunger Walk is a nationwide movement sponsored by Church World Service.to raise funds to end hunger and poverty in the United States and around the world. Hundreds of religious groups, businesses, schools, and others organize local walk events in their communities each year.

On Sunday, October 18, His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, celebrated the Divine Liturgy and delivered the sermon at St. Paul Church in Waukegan, Illinois, on the occasion of the church’s 60th anniversary.

Շաբաթ, 17 Հոկտեմբերին, Ս. Պօղոս եկեղեցւոյ (Ուոքիկըն, Իլինոյ) համայնքը մեծ խանդավառութեամբ նշեց 60-ամեակը։ Թեմիս բարեջան Առաջնորդ՝ Գերշ. Տ. Անուշաւան Արքեպիսկոպոս, նախագահեց ճաշկերոյթին։ Գործադրուեցաւ գեղարուեստական յայտագիր մը։ Հոգաբարձութեան ատենապետուհին՝ տոքթ. Ալթա Միքայէլեան, ողջունեց ներկաները եւ երախտագիտութեամբ յիշեց վեց տասնամեակներու ընթացքին համայնքի կառուցման իրենց ներդրումը ունեցած եւ ունեցող անձերը։ Եկեղեցւոյ հոգեւոր հովիւ՝ Արժպ. Տ. Տարօն Ա. Քհն. Ստեփանեան, իր շնորհակալութիւնը յայտնեց համայնքին, որ ամիս առ ամիս զինք կը հիւրընկալէ։ Առաջնորդ Սրբազան Հայրը իր հիացումը յայտնեց Ուոքիկընի փոքրիկ, բայց կենսունակ համայնքին եւ բարձրօրէն գնահատեց անոր աշխուժութիւնը։ Տօնախմբութիւնը իր աւարտին հասաւ «Պահպանիչ» աղօթքով եւ «Կիլիկիա»յի երգեցողութեամբ։

On Saturday, October 17, the community of St. Paul Church (Waukegan, Illinois) celebrated with great enthusiasm their sixtieth anniversary. His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, presided over the banquet, which featured an artistic program. Dr. Alta Mekaelian, Chairperson, welcomed the guests and remembered with gratitude those who supported the community for the last six decades. Archpriest Fr. Daron Stepanian expressed his gratitude to the community, which welcomes him once a month. The Prelate declared his admiration for this small but dynamic community and highly commended their continuous service to keep community life active. The anniversary event concluded with the “Bahbanich” prayer and the singing of “Giligia.”

Երեքշաբթի, 13 Հոկտեմբերին, իտալահայ անուանի գրող Անթոնիա Արսլանի «Մշոյ գիրքը» վիպակի արեւտահայերէն թարգմանութիւնը ներկայացուած Է Երեւանի «Զանգակ» գրատան մէջ։ Թարգմանութիւնը լոյս տեսած էր 2025-ին Ազգային Առաջնորդարանի «Սիս» հրատարակչատունէն՝ դիւանապետ դոկտ. Վարդան Մատթէոսեանի թարգմանութեամբ։ Ձեռնարկը տեղի ունեցած է «Թիւֆէնկեան» բարեգործական հիմնադրամի եւ «Save Armenia»-ի աջակցութեամբ։ Բացման խօսքը կատարած է հիմնադրամի հոգաբարձուներու խորհուրդի անդամ Անդրանիկ Գասպարեան, որ շեշտած է Հայաատանի մէջ գիրքի ներկայացումին կարեւորութիւնը,։

Անթոնիա Արսլան խօսք առաւ, անդրադառնալով գիրքի պատմութեան։ Գրող Վահան Զանոյեան եւ լրագրող Ռուբէն Ճանպազեան գիրքէն ընթերցումներ կատարեցին։ Ինչպէս յայտնի է, գիրքը վիպականացած պատմութիւնն է «Մշոյ ճառընտիր»ի՝՝ հայկական ամենամեծ ձեռագրի փրկութեան 1915-ի օրերուն։

On Tuesday, October 13, a new Western Armenian translation of
“The Book of Mush,” by acclaimed Italian Armenian author Antonia Arslan, was unveiled at Zangak Bookstore in Yerevan. With support from the Tufenkian Foundation and Save Armenia, the launch was held as part of the American and Italian Save Armenia delegation’s current visit to Armenia. The author was in attendance, along with fellow writers, representatives of the Italian Embassy to Armenia, and longtime readers and admirers of Arslan’s work.

Antranig Kasbarian, a trustee of the Tufenkian Foundation, opened the program by stressing the importance of presenting the book in Armenia. He noted that translating “The Book of Mush” into Western Armenian is part of a broader effort to preserve Armenian cultural and historical heritage. Antonia Arslan then addressed the audience and shared the story behind the book. Writer Vahan Zanoyan and journalist Rupen Janbazian followed with readings of selected passages. The evening concluded with a book signing by the author.
Originally written in Italian, “The Book of Mush” is a historical novella that fictionalizes the dramatic 1915 rescue of the Homiliary of Mush (Մշո ճառընտիր). Dr. Vartan Matiossian translated the book, which was published by Sis Publishing House of the Eastern Prelacy of the Armenian Church of America.

Անուշաւան Արքեպիսկոպոս, պաշտօնական այցելութիւն մը տուաւ Լիբանանի նոր ընդհանուր հիւպատոսին՝ տիար Թալալ Տահէր։ Խօսակցութեան ընթացքին, արծարծուեցաւ Լիբանանի ներկայ տնտեսական, քաղաքական եւ ընկերային կացութիւնը։ Առաջնորդ Սրբազան Հայրը լիբանանցի դիւանագէտին ներկայացուց Արեւելեան ԱՄՆ-ի հայ համայնքի ընդհանուր պատկերը։
On Thursday, October 15, His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, met with His Excellency Talal Daher, Lebanon’s new Consul General in New York. During their conversation at Lebanon’s Consulate, they exchanged views about the current situation in the Middle Eastern country. The Prelate also offered an overview of the East Coast Armenian community.

Չորեքշաբթի, 14 Հոկտեմբերին, Թեմիս բարեջան Առաջնորդ՝ Գերշ. Տ. Անուշաւան Արքեպիսկոպոս, ընդունեց Վերպ. Գրիգոր Եումշաճըքեանի (Սիտնի, Աւստրալիա) այցելութիւնը։ Վերպ. Եումշաճըքեան՝ Հայ Աւետարանական Համաշխարհային Խորհուրդի գործադիր տնօրէնը, Առաջնորդ Սրբազան Հօր դասընկեր եղած է Մերձաւոր Արեւելքի Աստուածաբանութեան Դպրոցին մէջ (NEST), զոր աւարտած են 1983-ին։ Երբեմնի դասընկերները, հանդիպելով 43 տարի ետք, միասնաբար քննարկեցին ընդհանուր եւ ազգային հետաքրքրութեան հարցեր երկու տարբեր ցամաքամասերու մէջ։
On Wednesday, October 14, His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, received the visit of Rev. Krikor Youmshajekian, Executive Director of the Armenian Evangelical World Council, from Sydney (Australia). Both classmates at the Near East School of Theology (NEST), class of 1983, met forty-three years later at the Prelacy. They discussed common issues of Armenian and non-Armenian interest in two different continents.
