DIVAS for Social Justice

09/08/2026

If you’ve ever wondered what it takes to build and sustain community green spaces, this conversation is for you!

I’m excited to be a panelist for Mapping Queens: Innovators in Green Spaces alongside fellow community leaders Clarisa James of DIVAS FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE INC, Jackie Rogers of The Garden by the Bay, Jaclyn Soto of South Jamaica Infinity Garden, and Nicolás Linares of Mazorca Colectiva. 🌱

Together, we’ll discuss what inspires our work, the challenges of creating and sustaining community green spaces, and the important role these spaces play in fostering connection, creativity, and community across Queens. 🤝

The conversation will be moderated by Natalie Bedon, Project Manager of the Queens Cultural Mapping Initiative.
