The Museum of Reclaimed Urban Space is now 14 years old, it has been doing an incredible job in events, campaigns, and especially outreach. We couldn't have done this without all the volunteers and community support, especially C-Squat.

Most of the visitors to the museum are Europeans, and they really understand the importance of community living, community gardens, and how that leads to a more livable and sustainable city. However, MoRUS, is noticing that more Americans have been catching on to the importance of sustainable urban designs.

Overview

We'll be getting a little witchy this spooky season by drinking some herbal teas, identifying the herbs, and talking about what they were traditionally used for!

We'll be identifying the herbs and talking about how to grow, harvest, and use them. Many herbs can grow wild and can be found throughout La Plaza. Join us for herbal tea and learn about the medicinal herbs growing in the garden.
