The opening of the Udaipur Type 1 Summit was envisioned as more than a starting point for one condition—it set a broader perspective on how India can better understand and manage chronic health challenges overall.

It aimed to frame the next three days with purpose, bringing together experts from across geographies to shape meaningful dialogue.

Conversations have the power to deepen understanding and inspire change. Day 1 featured impactful media interactions and a Fireside Chat, expanding the conversation on Type 1 Diabetes—from early diagnosis and daily management to lived experiences of individuals and families.

By bringing together diverse voices, the sessions highlighted the importance of empathy, timely support, and informed decision-making, while laying the groundwork for stronger awareness and more holistic care in India.
