Welcome new followers. Following in the steps of multiple initiatives over the last 6 years or so, will shortly be updating with two initiatives;

1: Related to the re-emerging famine crisis in the Eastern African region similar to the one in 2011 which we were actively engaged in relief efforts for.
2: Political advocacy/lobbying issues related to the Kenyan Diaspora, especially being an election year. There are some initiatives we are working on along with the Kenya Diaspora Alliance and allies.

Greetings! Did any of you make it to the Kenya Diaspora meeting in DC over the wkd of Oct 9th? if so, please share feedback. What were the ups, downs....what new opportunities have you discovered worth investing in?...what was lacking that could be present next time?.....were the visiting leaders clear on what role the Kenyan Diaspora will play in Vision 2030? Were you able to voice out your opinion to the people who matter? Did anyone address issues with poor communication channels and relations between the Kenyan Embassy and Diaspora?
