Dance Lab NY Dance Lab NY is a choreography incubator designed to give dance makers the proper tools they need to practice their craft and test their ideas. dancelabny.org

DANCE LAB NEW YORK IS THE ONLY INDEPENDENT ORGANIZATION EXCLUSIVELY DEDICATED TO PROMOTING AND ADVANCING THE ART FORM OF CHOREOGRAPHY BY GIFTING VITAL RESOURCES TO A DIVERSE RANGE OF DANCE MAKERS. In order to create a choreographer needs dancers, space, and time—three essential elements that are prohibitively expensive. As a result, even seasoned dance makers are prevented from crafting new work. Designed to alleviate these substantial fiscal and administrative burdens, DLNY provides choreographers with a curated company of professional dancers, expansive studio space, and structured rehearsal time complete with a rehearsal director and support from our staff in order to incubate new ideas in a professionalized, supportive environment. Since opening our doors in 2015, we have served over 60 choreographers.
