Sophia Watt is a director, actor, and producer, and has been the Artistic Director of Royalty Free Theater since 2013. She directed an innovative adaptation of Shakespeare’s Henry the Sixth trilogy- “The War of the Roses” (co-produced with Irondale Theater). Partnering with 68-cent Theater, she directed a sold out run of Dracula, after a year of workshopping. Hyde for next October with 68 Cent Theatre. As the Artistic Director of Royalty Free she has produced a collection of classic plays and new works including: The Importance of being Ernest, Richard III (free performances in Central Park), Twelfth Night, and the Scratch Apocalyptics, a new work. Sophia holds a double degree from University of Hartford the Hartt School in Actor Training and English, and was a Martin Scholar finalist. Emily Juliani is a stage manger and has worked as the production manager for Royalty Free Theater since its founding in 2013. Some of her favorite credits include: War of the Roses (RFT), Twelfth Night (RFT), The Importance of Being Ernest (RFT), and Just Desserts: Plays with Consequences (The 52nd Street Project). Emily also works as the First Assistant Director for Martha and George Productions. She previously worked as a Chemist for Abbott Laboratories. Emily holds a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences with a minor in chemistry from University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
