It is with profound sadness yet unforgettable memories of lives changed, that we share this information from the main office in NYC. THANK YOU to everyone who has supported the Fresh Air Fund Friendly Towns and those who have volunteered as Host Families or in any other capacity. Our hearts are broken, especially after 147 years of Summer Families.

This past Monday our second bus from NYC arrived with excited children joining their happy host families for a week.
We've received photos of the fun they are having, our favorite part!💚💙

Join us next summer!!! There are more City children waiting to be matched with a family, but we don't have enough families to grant matches and fun Summers that can last a lifetime! Consider volunteering with us for wonderful, lifelong bonds and memories.

We welcomed our first bus to the valley on July 8th. Everyone had a wonderful week!!! 3 returning children and 1 new match.
Our next bus arrives this Monday, the 29th, for another fun filled week!

Join us next year, as there are a lot of city children dreaming of being matched to a host family so that they too can experience Friendly Towns.

A Fresh Air Fund heart warming story: This young man first visited this family 11 years ago. This week, he chose to spend his college freshman spring break with them. This is a testament to the lasting impact of the Fresh Air Fund and the relationships it builds with its participants.

Thank you for all that you do, ladies!!!
Our social workers are available 24/7 while your city child visits your home this summer for anything....homesickness, injury, or just to tell them what a great time everyone is having! They love to hear from us :)

March is National Social Work Month, and we’re excited to celebrate our amazing Fresh Air Fund social workers who are dedicated to supporting NYC children and families and building community. Thank you, Bernadette, Shuwen, Kristin and Deborah for all you do!

The Fresh Air Fund is so much more than Friendly Towns.
There are also 6 summer sleepover camps for ages 8-15 where children can explore and learn. There are even two camps which include career awareness and leadership development.
Also, Enrichment & Leadership programs such as a College Connections program, Circle of Brotherhood, Young Women's Giving Circle, and career awareness programs are offered throughout the year.
