We’re proud to share that Mildred Flores‑Thevenin, SHF’s Director of Affordable Housing Marketing & Compliance, will be speaking at the 2026 New York State Association For Affordable Housing on Thursday, May 14. Mildred will join the panel Housing Access Reform: Strengthening the Lottery & Marketing Systems at 12:00–1:15 PM to discuss the future of equitable, transparent, and efficient housing access across New York.

With 17 years of experience and leadership over 5,000+ units across NYC and Westchester County, Mildred continues to set the standard for excellence. In 2025, her leadership helped expand access to affordable housing through:
- 583 units leased, including 116 units for formerly homeless households
- 82,000+ applications processed and 320,000+ received for 911 newly opened units
- Record‑breaking lease‑up performance across multiple developments

As Mildred notes, integrating Pronto Housing's technology has cut application processing time in half, consolidating the entire document review and leasing workflow and helping accelerate lease‑ups across our portfolio. Mildred’s expertise is shaping the future of housing access, and we’re honored to have her represent Settlement Housing Fund at NYSAFAH 2026.
