The Bradenton Marauders, every year on July 3rd, auction off their specialty patriotic game jerseys and give the proceeds to a local military charity.
In 2026, they selected Denis V. Cooper Foundation- Wishes for Hereos, to be the benefactor.
Plus… ! 🇺🇸👏 The BIGGEST fireworks show in LECOM Park history will happen after the game, Friday, July 3rd. Don’t miss Marauders baseball, an unforgettable night at the ballpark, and a fireworks spectacular you won't want to miss.

We are beyond grateful to the Sarasota Tarpon Tournament. This is the longest running Tarpon Tournament in the World. It concluded this weekend, with their Awards Ceremony.!
They selected our Foundation, as one of their charity beneficiaries.
Their entire team of volunteers is incredible!
Our board members, Gary Kortzendorf and Maverick Johnson were honored to accept the donation.

Meet Shea an Army Veteran who served in the Middle East and now lives in Venice with his wife, who is recovering from some health concerns.
This Hero had a Wish Request.
The 5th wheel they have been living in, was damaged from Hurricane Ian and Milton.
However, after Shea made several repairs, it simply reached a point that he could no longer keep it patched up, and it financially became beyond his repair ability.
We cannot say thank you enough to our board member Bob Morrison who spent a few months looking at replacement options, with Shea.
We had no luck looking commercially.
Bob would not give up and after Shea found a possible replacement.
Bob was able to negotiate a much lower price from a private seller.
Thank you for making this wish for a local Hero come true.
Your support allows us to change lives!

We love our man Joe Krawtschenko!
He owns and operates SLE Customs in Sarasota. They do laser engraving, banners, stickers, and more… and they do it, at a very high level.
Joe has been a long time supporter of our mission.
Recently he engraved some metal cups with our Foundation logo.
This man, refused to take our money for the job.

Placed Dad’s Flag Yesterday at Sarasota National Cemetery. Families and friends who volunteer, have an opportunity to place their loved ones Flag, first.
Shortly after, just under 24,000 American Flags were placed by over 1,000 volunteers.
As each Flag was placed, each Hero’s name was said “out loud” and they were thanked for their service and sacrifice, by the volunteer!
These Flags will stay in place for one week, until next Saturday morning.
If you can, please stop by, or drive through the Cemetery slowly, to thank these heroes! - Maverick
