Our President, Samat Umirzakov, had the pleasure of hosting a private dinner at The Capital Grille, Rockefeller Center, with H.E. Ambassador Abubakar Jidda, Consul General of Nigeria in New York, and H.E. Ambassador Edward Ilechukwu.

It was an evening of meaningful conversation, shared perspectives, and strengthened friendships. Our President, Samat Umirzakov, met with H.E. Ambassador Penda Naanda, Permanent Representative of Namibia to the United Nations, and Lwaba Jario, Investment & Export Promotion Attaché at the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB) in New York.

The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for strategic collaboration and strengthening economic and international partnerships. We are grateful to Ambassador Naanda and Mr. Jario for their warm welcome and look forward to building a productive relationship.

We are pleased to share that Global New York Chamber of Commerce has signed a MOU on Trade and Business Cooperation with Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.

The MOU was signed by Samat Umirzakov - President of Global New York Chamber of Commerce, and Randolph (Randy) Peers - President & CEO of Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.

This partnership is built around a clear goal: - to strengthen trade ties, support business growth, and create practical collaboration opportunities for companies operating in New York and beyond. We believe that our global investors and business leaders will directly benefit from Brooklyn’s deep experience, local expertise, and strong business ecosystem. At the same time, this collaboration opens new channels to connect Brooklyn-based companies with international markets and capital.

We would also like to thank Rauan Tleulin, Consul General of Kazakhstan in New York, and Avi Leshes, Senior Director of Global Affairs at Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, for being part of this important step.
